Three of your contractors roll off in 21 days.
Nobody has noticed yet.
In most agencies, the roll-off is discovered when the client calls to say goodbye, and a recruiter starts sourcing a stranger while a proven contractor walks out the door. Delivery is the candidate half of your front office: intake on job orders, posting and sourcing, 10 to 20 screening calls a day on a temp desk, submittals, interview coordination, offers, redeployment.
Your own ATS database is this desk’s number-one asset. Most of the tools you’re paying for exist to work around a bad one.
Six frictions every recruiter has learned to live with.
Intake by memory
The job order arrives by phone or forwarded email. Half the requirements live in the recruiter’s notebook, the bill rate lives in a thread, and three days in someone asks “was this contract-to-hire or straight contract?”
Sourcing strangers you already own
You pay job boards monthly to find candidates who are already sitting in your ATS. Unsearchable, untagged, last touched two years ago. The database you built is the asset you use least.
The screening-call treadmill
On a temp desk it’s 10 to 20 calls a day. The notes land on stickies and in half-finished fields, so the next recruiter who opens the record learns nothing from the twenty minutes you just spent.
Submittals formatted by hand
Every submittal means re-styling a resume, writing the summary, attaching the rate. In a document, not the system. Meanwhile the competitor with the faster pipeline sends theirs first and wins the interview slot.
Interview phone tag
Client offers one slot, candidate can do another, client counters with a third. Six emails and a no-show later, the process has cost more goodwill than the placement fee earns back.
The invisible roll-off
Contract end dates sit in no calendar anyone watches. Average agencies redeploy about 3% of contractors; best-in-class hit 70. Every point in that gap is revenue you already sourced once, walking out the door.
The ATS is only the start.
The sourcing and outreach layers are where the per-recruiter bill balloons. All prices est., current list.
A recruiter’s desk today
On the conservative Bullhorn number, before job-board spend.
The same desk, on Zoho
Recruit Staffing edition and Workerly are their own line items on top of Zoho One. We show them separately in every quote. Annual pricing, USD list.
The desk that runs on one screen.
Not a diagram. The actual product. Zoho Recruit’s Staffing Agency edition holds clients, contacts, job orders and candidates in one pipeline, with the career site, 70+ job boards and the client portal hanging off the same records.
Redeployment finds them before the goodbye.
That’s Zoho Flow watching contract end dates. The flagship here, and one of the highest-ROI automations in staffing. Every point of redeployment rate is revenue you already sourced once.
Job order in, shortlist out
The order arrives from the sales handoff → auto-posts to your boards and career site → Zia parses and ranks inbound resumes against it. The recruiter opens a pre-built shortlist instead of a pile.
Hired → scheduled → onboarded, same day
The candidate converts to a Workerly temp natively, the onboarding packet fires via Sign and Forms, and the shift schedule is assigned. No swivel-chair between systems.
Interview logistics off your plate
A Bookings link goes to the client automatically, calendars sync, reminders go out by email and SMS. Fewer no-shows, zero back-and-forth, and the recruiter never plays switchboard.
Every point of redeployment rate is revenue
you already sourced once.
The week, when the desk runs on rails.
The order arrives already structured
Sales marked the deal Won, so the job opening is sitting in Recruit with client, contact, bill rate and terms attached. No intake-by-memory. It’s posted to 70+ boards and the career site before the morning calls start, and Zia is already ranking your own database against it.
Shortlist, submittals, interviews, one screen
The recruiter works a pre-ranked shortlist, sends branded submittals from the record, and every accepted submittal auto-sends a Bookings link. Screening notes go into fields, not stickies, so the whole desk learns from every call.
The offer closes and the paperwork is already moving
Marked Hired (Contract), the candidate becomes a Workerly temp, the packet fires via Sign and Forms, and the shift schedule is assigned. The start date is set by the client’s need, not by how fast documents can be chased.
The roll-off scan runs before you wake
Flow flags every contractor ending inside 21 days, opens redeploy tasks, and drafts next-role emails matched from your own database. The desk starts the new week redeploying proven people instead of sourcing strangers.

The numbers that decide a desk.
Zoho Analytics presents this desk as a recruiter leaderboard, a submittal-to-placement funnel, a traffic-light aging report of open orders, a time-to-fill trend by vertical and a redeployment gauge. Live, no exports. Illustrative view against industry benchmarks:
median temp time-to-fill. The healthy range runs 4 to 14 days
submittals per order before an interview lands
submittal-to-interview rate, with interview-to-offer and offer-acceptance beside it
fall-off rate. Tracked, not shrugged at
redeployment rate, the gauge the flagship automation moves
placements per recruiter per month, with GP per recruiter beside it
Every tool, mapped honestly.
The short version, including where Bullhorn still wins.
| You’re paying for | Zoho does it with |
|---|---|
| Bullhorn | Zoho Recruit, Staffing Agency edition. Its own purchase, $25 to $75/recruiter/mo; not inside Zoho One. |
| Bullhorn middle-office add-ons | Zoho Workerly. Its own purchase, priced per active temp. |
| LinkedIn Recruiter | Keep it if it pays. Recruit publishes free LinkedIn Limited Listings out of the box. |
| SourceWhale | Recruit workflows + templates + Zia-drafted emails. Every reply writes back to your database. |
| Spark Hire | Zoho Meeting + Bookings. One-way async screening needs a third party or a Creator build; we say so up front. |
| Calendly | Zoho Bookings. ✓ |
| Paper offers and applications | Zoho Forms + Zoho Sign. ✓ |
Where Bullhorn genuinely still wins: VMS auto-ingestion (Fieldglass, Beeline) for MSP-heavy firms, and its staffing marketplace ecosystem. For a 5 to 30 person generalist or direct-hire firm this rarely matters; for a 200-seat VMS-fed light-industrial firm, it does. We’ll tell you which one you are.
The first 30 days on this desk.
Week 1: the database becomes an asset again
We configure Recruit Staffing edition around your desks: pipelines, submittal templates, career site, board connections. Candidates, clients and jobs migrate from Bullhorn or spreadsheets, parsed and deduped on the way in.
Weeks 2 and 3: the desk goes on rails
Zia matching, the order-to-shortlist flow, Bookings interview links and the hired-to-Workerly conversion go live, plus the onboarding packet, so the first hire after go-live is a same-day start.
Week 4: the redeployment engine switches on
The 21-day roll-off scan, the redeploy tasks and the dashboards, leaderboard, funnel, aging report and redeployment gauge, go live, and we train recruiters desk-side on their own reqs.
Delivery is the hat the owner never gets to take off.
In a small shop there is no “delivery team.” There is you, between BD calls and invoices. That is exactly why the automations on this page matter most at your size: they are the second recruiter you have not hired yet. Zoho One prices by employee, not by function. The $37 login under this hat is the same one under your sales, marketing, compliance and finance hats.
What delivery leads ask us.
Is Zoho Recruit’s Staffing edition included in Zoho One?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is quoting the Corporate HR flavor. The Staffing Agency edition is its own purchase at $25 to $75/recruiter/mo, on top of Zoho One. We show it as a separate line in every quote.
Can it really replace Bullhorn for us?
For a 5 to 30 person generalist, direct-hire or contract firm, yes, at a fraction of the all-in cost. For a 200-seat firm living on VMS auto-ingestion from Fieldglass or Beeline, Bullhorn still earns its premium. The review tells you which one you are before you spend anything.
What happens to our job boards?
Recruit multiposts to 70+ boards and publishes free LinkedIn Limited Listings out of the box. Your paid board slots keep working. Applications flow into Recruit and get parsed and ranked by Zia instead of piling up in an inbox.
Will our candidate database survive the migration?
Yes. It is the whole point. Candidates, notes, placements and documents migrate from Bullhorn or spreadsheets, parsed and deduped, so day one starts with a searchable asset instead of a fresh empty ATS.
What can Zoho not do on this desk?
One-way async video screening needs a third party or a Creator build, there is no LinkedIn RSC-level integration, and deep VMS ingestion is not there. Everything else on this page ships as described, and we put the gaps in writing before you buy.
What does Workerly actually cost?
It is priced per active temp, not per recruiter. Roughly $59/mo for 25 temps, then about $1.50 per temp (est.). A separate line item on top of Zoho One, and only needed if you run a temp desk.
